Koza Mining 1 Jan

A regular waste storage facility is constructed in Koza Gold Mine enterprises, one of the distinguished institutions of our country, in order to prevent the waste materials produced after the enrichment processes from mixing with the nature.

According to the mining waste regulation of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization; In storage areas, a sealing layer must be provided in order to prevent harmful leachate from reaching the soil. The sealing layer to be created is realized by using many geosynthetic materials, and the main geosynthetic materials used are Geosynthetic Clay Cover, HDPE Geomembrane and Nonwoven Geotextiles. In addition, Drainage Composites and Erosion Control Covers are used during the closure of the fields.

Bentoshield 5000 series product was preferred for Geosynthetic Clay Cover in Koza Gold Mine and 125.000 m2 application was made.
