    TechTex DC

TechTex DC is a heat treated from high tenacity by the method of needling 100% pure polyester based fibers They easily adapt to soil and climate conditions the project’s technical specification required.

    Functions

TechTex DC® Geotextiles provide protection when used on geomembranes in construction projects such as landfill sites and mine waste areas. In river rehabilitation and flood protection projects, they demonstrate separation and drainage capabilities when used beneath the covering material. Moreover, in road construction, they facilitate filtration by wrapping around the drainage gravel layer in drainage channels. With these features, TechTex DC® Geotextiles are effectively used in various construction projects.

    Applications

    Highway
    Geogrid 1

Geosynthetic products form the road platform on the soft soils to prevent the reflection and crocodile crack in the road layer. This method reduces the thickness of sub-base layer required. CheMax series product is developed for remove the water from the road ground embankment, strength the embankment and separate the structural fill and basement layer.

Movement of water in streams and river beds, periodic floods, seasonal changes in water causes damage of the channel slopes and soil losses. Regarding to the movement is caused the erosion in the channel slopes, is occured the slope stabilization problem and the route of stream and river beds changes over time. Although rigid structures cannot be permanent due to their service life, they can be made permanent with geosynthetic stream coating elements.

Coastal erosion may be caused by hydraulic action, wave, tide on the coastline that is caused the loss of land. The service life of engineering structures (harbour, pier, breakwater, groyne) in coastal areas is also directly affected by hydraulic action as movement of water. Geomas geosynthetic products, which we have developed in accordance with these challenging manufacturing conditions, offer unique engineering solutions that are both economical and environmentally friendly.

The content of the waste material coming out of the mining sites and the proper storage of this waste are important. In the storage areas, sealing barriers are made on the basements and slopes in accordance with the content of the waste. The basement is covered with clay ground however sealing cannot be achieved on slopes with the same application in classical methods. The performance values of geosynthetic materials have been improved and sealing barriers suitable for the content of the waste have been provided with the development of technology.
