    Geosynthetic tube is a dewatering pipes with high strength fabric. Geosynthetic tube is produced from polypropylene and has filtration feature. Geosynthetic tube is available different type depend on the purpose of usage and can provide the 85% volume reduction.

    Functions

    Geosynthetic tube elements, with their high permeability characteristics, effectively facilitate the rapid drainage of liquids, including moisture present within the mulch material they contain.     Made from pure polypropylene, dewatering tubes, also known as Geosynthetic tubes, have different weaving patterns and permeabilities based on the material they will be filled with. Depending on the material to be dewatered and pump capacity (maximum 2.5 meters height), various types of these tubes are available and are commonly preferred in projects such as large-scale wastewater treatment, lake and pond constructions, industrial areas, agricultural fields, and paper and cellulose facilities.

The basement is covered with clay ground however sealing cannot be achieved on slopes with the same application in classical methods. The performance values of geosynthetic materials have been improved and sealing barriers suitable for the content of the waste have been provided with the development of technology.

    One of the biggest problems in landfills is that the contents of the waste are watery and difficult to transport from one place to another for storage. Classical methods are not very economical in terms of total costs, due to the lack of sufficient space fort he settling ponds and the additional costs of transporting the wastes to these areas.
