    GeoDrain CK

GeoDrain CK is a multifunctional geocomposite designed for tunnel structures, reinforced concrete retaining walls, and building curtain applications. It consists of a polyamide core with high drainage capacity, laminated with one side coated with PVC or PE film and the other side with non-woven polypropylene geotextile.

    Functions

GeoDrain CK composite material is specially developed for use in areas with high drainage depth. When used in conjunction with reinforced concrete elements, its PVC and/or polyamide layers prevent moisture from penetrating into the concrete, ensuring its durability. It causes no additional space loss in the application areas and aids the efficient functioning of the drainage system. GeoDrain CK is designed for tunnel structures, reinforced concrete retaining walls, and curtain applications, and its flexible structure easily adapts to complex geometries.

The content of the waste material coming out of the mining sites and the proper storage of this waste are important. In the storage areas, sealing barriers are made on the basements and slopes in accordance with the content of the waste. The basement is covered with clay ground however sealing cannot be achieved on slopes with the same application in classical methods. The performance values of geosynthetic materials have been improved and sealing barriers suitable for the content of the waste have been provided with the development of technology.

One of the biggest problems in landfills is that the contents of the waste are watery and difficult to transport from one place to another for storage. Classical methods are not very economical in terms of total costs, due to the lack of sufficient space fort he settling ponds and the additional costs of transporting the wastes to these areas. The wastes are easily dewatered and become practically portable with geosynthetic tube materilas which have an important place in the geosynthetic product range. The scope can be saved and more waste can be stored as they can be conveniently stored in the disposal area.
