    Geo-Matress© is a geotextile mattress formed by filling the interior of two layers of polypropylene geotextile with fine aggregate concrete.

    Mats create filter points by being stitched at regular intervals. These points serve as filters where water can drain and release water pressure behind or beneath the bed. The small pore size prevents the transport of fine soil particles.

    Movement of water in streams and river beds, periodic floods, seasonal changes in water causes damage of the channel slopes and soil losses. Regarding to the movement is caused the erosion in the channel slopes, is occured the slope stabilization problem and the route of stream and river beds changes over time. Although rigid structures cannot be permanent due to their service life, they can be made permanent with geosynthetic stream coating elements.
