    BentoShield PE

BentoShield PE is a geosynthetic clay liner crafted by mechanically bonding polymer-modified sodium bentonite granules or bentonite powder to both woven and non-woven geotextile materials. This innovative product provides an effective waterproofing and insulation solution for a variety of environmental applications.

    Functions

When BentoShield PE is hydrated, it forms an impermeable barrier against liquids, water vapor, and gases. BentoShield PE achieves superior hydraulic performance with a thickness of less than one centimeter compared to meters-thick layers of compacted clay soil typically used in storage areas.

    Application Areas

    Mining Facilities
    Atık Depolama

The content of the waste material coming out of the mining sites and the proper storage of this waste are important. In the storage areas, sealing barriers are made on the basements and slopes in accordance with the content of the waste. The basement is covered with clay ground however sealing cannot be achieved on slopes with the same application in classical methods. The performance values of geosynthetic materials have been improved and sealing barriers suitable for the content of the waste have been provided with the development of technology.
